Jaymic can offer comprehensive restoration facilities for the entire CS model range from a basic 2800CS, through to the rare and sought after 3.0 CSl and 'Batmobile'.

Like its smaller 'cousin', the 02, the CS range of models are mechanically robust and reliable. However, beneath the sleek lines of this gorgeous coupe, nightmares often lurk. The complex method of construction, designed and built for BMW by Karmann, paid little attention to rust prevention as moisture 'traps' abound. These body shells are prone to rusting from the inside out, especially from the various strengthening box sections designed to stiffen this pillarless coupe. If serious corrosion exists within the sill sections or front bulkhead/inner wing sections etc., repairs can prove quite expensive. All of the important body panels are available (some only from ourselves), so replacement is quite possible, if a little expensive. We can also offer local repair sections for some areas where budgets dictate. Mechanical defects are comparatively simple to rectify, as would be attending to unsatisfactory brightwork, trim or 'soft furnishings'. We are happy to do as much or as little as you want or as your budget dictates.
